I hate how you have to convert with ipod. I want to be able to put movies right onto a personal video player but not somethign huge, somethign small like an ipod or psp.|||almost every MP3 player other then Ipod, seriously there are a lot that can do this. The only device that supports MPEG 1 and 2 is the Archos series of players ( it requires you purchase a seperate plugin) Archos makes the best video players for the price and are UMS compliant devices meaning they support drag and drop without a frontend program such as Ijunk, they simply have the largest screen, best resolution and the coolest features for the lowest price. Pocket PC (Windows Based) will play just about any video you throw at it and the cards are getting cheaper at crazy rates so that may be the way you want to go. The Zen Vision M will also play DIVX natively (as an AVI) and I hear they are pretty cheap now because of the new models they are getting ready to release (flash based). You have quite a few options the few I have mentioned both require little to no conversion of most video files and are reasonably priced.
